Ultimately, I’m not doing that much. I’m only doing what a human being who feels wants to do—in my way, without stepping out of my flow while staying in my lane. Without, I guess, boring people.

The first step on the way to victory is to recognize the enemy.

I daydream too. I visualise. I think ahead, I can do it now, sitting here. I think ahead to the walk-in, I can hear the crowd, the music, I can feel the cameras all around me, I can feel movements in my body as I am heading there, I can bring up that incredible feeling you get when you step into the cage.

If you push yourself to stay hungry, you’re always working towards at least taking steps forward. If you’re taking steps forward, then you’re making progress.

When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.

Progress means getting nearer to the place you want to be. And if you have taken a wrong turn, then to go forward does not get you any nearer. If you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; and in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive man
