Each project I undertake is an opportunity to explore new ideas.

Honestly, I look at the project and I look at the people attached and I look at the director. If it’s a role that I feel will help me, as an actor, then I’ll definitely take it.

Large-scale public projects require the agreement of large numbers of people

I feel like everyone here is so creative. They think up a project, and the next thing you know, they’re doing it.

So many out there place an undue burden on themselves to succeed at something, whatever it might be, and then if they fail, grow seeds of resentment and hate toward that failure and, as a result, themselves, and in many cases, project that resentment and hatred onto others.

Be fluid. Treat each project differently. Be water, man. The best style is no style. Because styles can be figured out. And when you have no style they can’t figure you out.

We try to do different types of projects and last time was a fun event.

Being a Puerto Rican artist, I support all kinds of projects that are developed on my beautiful island that in some way or another put our Puerto Rican flag up.

I thought, well, when I step off it’s just going to be a little step — a step from there down to there — but then I thought about all those 400,000 people who had given me the opportunity to make that step and thought it’s going to be a big something for all those folks and, indeed for a lot of others that weren’t even involved in the project, so it was kind of a simple correlation.

I was delighted to be in that project… but I don’t think about it on a day-to-day basis — probably only when you guys (in the media) remind me.
