When I began writing, the words that inspired me were these: A writer is someone who has written today. If you want to be a writer, whats stopping you?

Who would have thought that somebody Latino was going to be singing with Beyonce at Coachella? Years ago? Nobody. But I did believe in me. So, that’s what I want to do: keep inspiring people as much as possible.

I want to inspire people to follow their own dream, not what the world wants for them.

I want to inspire others to chase their dreams and never give up.

Obviously, the duty of artists is there, but it’s more an indictment of the political system that someone like Zinn views artists as the seers, idealizing them as the people responsible for inspiring change

No other religion has come even remotely close to Islam in inspiring, justifying, or supporting terrorism. And yet, the progressive intelligentsia insist that none of these documented attacks have anything to do with Islam.

Tunings are wonderfully inspiring, and it helps you to write music. If I’m stuck, you know, I change the tuning.

The Islamic teachings have left great traditions for equitable and gentle dealings and behavior, and inspire people with nobility and tolerance. These teachings brought into existence a society in which hard-heartedness and collective oppression and injustice were the least as compared with all other societies preceding it….Islam is replete with gentleness, courtesy, and fraternity.

When you’re still, and some actors are really brilliant at that, you bring a kind of energy to you as opposed to sending the energy out. There are some actors, like Gary Cooper or Kevin Spacey, that are absolutely brilliant – Gene Hackman is another – at being and allowing the audience to just do the work.

The biggest thing for me is the new music. I’m playing a lot of new music that is not released yet on my tours. Seeing the reaction to that is super inspiring.

Meeting President Obama was amazing. Very inspiring.

The issue is now clear. It is between light and darkness and everyone must choose his side.

I know of nothing more inspiring than that of making discoveries for one’s self.

Always do more than is required of you.

There are obviously so many artists that are very inspiring, but I can’t say that they like that I have someone in mind that is like a creative direction of where I want to go as an artist. I think I’m just doing my own thing.

It’s not like I’m the first man ever to do this, y’know? You gotta go back to Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby and Sammy Davis Jr. Those are people who’ve done music well and movies well, and y’know, Frank Sinatra and Elvis and all these dudes have made the transition. I don’t know about Elvis, ’bout doin’ ’em good, y’know? It’s nothin’ new.

The future is full of possibility, whether you make one tiny change – or a whole invigorating, thrilling, inspiring bunch of them.

Leadership is about empathy. It is about having the ability to relate to and connect with people for the purpose of inspiring and empowering their lives.

I find children inspiring. The way they look at the world. The magical world they live in, to me, is inspiring.

One of the great bonuses of being a film actor is that I get to go to different places, meet inspiring people and learn different things. So all those details add up.

I find it inspiring and I always think when I’m working on something new, whether it’s a new kind of character or a new kind of story or new kind of camera, it gets my creative wheels spinning.
