I don’t need money, or, better, it’s not money that I need; it’s not even power; I need only what is obtained by power and simply cannot be obtained without power: the solitary and calm awareness of strength! That is the fullest definition of freedom, which the world so struggles over!

There is an innocence in admiration: it occurs in one who has not yet realized that they might one day be admired.

The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect, but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves.

Instagram has said a lot of things about me that are not true, so I don’t even know where that’s coming from.

This is my work ethic: I do not want to raise my future kids where I was raised, and I know the only way to do it is working, working, working, working, working.

Today we are engaged in a deadly global struggle for those who would intimidate, torture, and murder people for exercising the most basic freedoms. If we are to win this struggle and spread those freedoms, we must keep our own moral compass pointed in a true direction.

Outside show is a poor substitute for inner worth

In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit

You’ll see the most perfect person, and you are like, ‘God, she’s, like, perfect.’ And then she’ll tell you everything that’s not perfect. Everyone has their own special set of problems – in their own minds.
