Sometimes it is in the long-run interest of the business sector to restrict the freedom of individual firms so that they do not destroy the common pool of resources that all of them need, such as natural resources or the labour force.

You know, I could run for governor and all this but I’m basically a media creation.  I’ve never really done anything.  I’ve worked for my dad.  I worked in the oil industry.  But that’s not the kind of profile you have to have to get elected to public office.

We need to keep making our streets safer and our criminal justice system fairer – our homeland more secure, our world more peaceful and sustainable for the next generation.
