In general, I hate films that are overtly either very masculine or very feminine, you know? The same way that I don’t like a war movie about soldiers smashing people’s heads. But a chick flick I like would be Cassavetes’ movies. ‘A Woman Under the Influence,’ ‘Husbands.’

It is well known that of every strong woman they say she has a masculine mind.

The woman’s mission is not to enhance the masculine spirit, but to express the feminine; hers is not to preserve a man-made world, but to create a human world by the infusion of the feminine element into all of its activities.
