When I see throughout this book, called the Bible, a history of the grossest vices and a collection of the most paltry and contemptible tales and stories, I could not so dishonor my Creator by calling it by His name

I would not dare so dishonor my Creator’s name by attaching it to this filthy book

I don’t talk to everybody, so they don’t really know the real me.

I like to watch the news, because I don’t like people very much and when you watch the news… If you ever had an idea that people were really terrible, you could watch the news and know that you’re right.

I did only what my duty demanded. I could have taken no other course without dishonor.
