Comics
To be a true comic, you have to have a signature move. You ever watch wrestling? And your favorite wrestler has the one move that he always does to finish his opponent off, right? All great humorists are sad… I cannot help seeing beyond the tinsel of humour, and recognising the pitiful basis of jest – the world is indeed comic, but the joke is on mankind.

Some comics don’t like it when people talk during the set, and it does get a little bit annoying after awhile, but I basically let people dictate what jokes I’m going to do.

I want to be known as a funny comic not just a funny Latino comic. I want to be able to go everywhere and anywhere.

A lot of ones I’ve really chased and wanted – as a comic, I’ve always wanted to do a ‘Mock The Week’ – it’s always discussed, but for whatever reason it doesn’t happen.

If you get a chance, whenever you’re traveling, do go to the local boutique comic book shop and don’t buy your comics online ’cause those guys are going to go extinct, in a minute here, and we want to be able to have those experiences with our kids.
