Living in South Africa has had a very profound impact on my career.

My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from her.

The biggest change in the government’s behavior has been because of TV and its ability to show to the world what has happened in this community, that’s the biggest change. But without TV, the separation between the government and the people would be much worse than it is.

I just wanted to speak to the streets and give them motivation on making it out. Whatever situation they’re in, know that they can make do and have a better life.

I need music. It’s like my heartbeat, so to speak. It keeps me going no matter what’s going on – bad games, press, whatever!
