Zoey Tur
Zoey Tur, born Robert Albert Tur on June 8, 1960, is an American broadcast journalist and helicopter pilot. Tur gained prominence as a pioneering transgender reporter, notably covering the O.J. Simpson trial in the 1990s. A former military pilot, Tur transitioned in the early 2000s, becoming a vocal advocate for transgender rights. Tur has worked for various media outlets and co-founded the news agency Los Angeles News Service. In recent years, Tur has contributed to discussions on LGBTQ+ issues, aviation, and media ethics.
