H. R. Giger
Hans Rudolf Giger, known as H. R. Giger, was a Swiss surrealist artist and designer, born on February 5, 1940, and passing away on May 12, 2014. He is best recognized for his biomechanical and nightmarish artworks, most notably the iconic design of the Xenomorph in the film “Alien.” Giger’s dark, erotic, and futuristic imagery often explored the fusion of human and machine, blurring the lines between the organic and mechanical.
