Ellen Ochoa
Ellen Ochoa is an accomplished American astronaut and scientist. Born in 1958, she made history in 1993 as the first Hispanic woman in space, serving on the Space Shuttle Discovery. Ochoa holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and has made significant contributions to the development of optical systems.
