The strip, featuring the humorous antics of a typical suburban family, reflected Keane’s warm and nostalgic view of family life. His distinctive drawing style and gentle humor endeared the characters to readers, and the comic ran until his death in 2011. Keane’s work earned numerous accolades and solidified his place as a prominent figure in American comic strips.
